Farm ute driving through an automated gateway

Automated farm gates in New South Wales

On a mixed farm the same gateway carries the ute, the tractor and the mob in one week. Every one of those trips means climbing out to unclip a gate.

UpGate installed on a working Australian farm

ControlAg builds UpGate for working farm gateways.

UpGate is a patented, solar-powered automated farm gate that lifts electrified bungy cords overhead. Farmers operate it from up to 100 metres away and use the same opening for vehicles and cattle.

One gateway, three jobs?

UpGate passes vehicles and cattle through the same opening, so there is no separate manual gate beside a grid.

Choose Standard for about 3.7 to 3.9 m of clearance, or Large for about 4.3 to 4.5 m if tractors and headers go through.

How far does the remote reach?

Range is up to 100 metres. Each remote has 8 buttons, one remote can activate an unlimited number of UpGates, and each UpGate holds up to 32 remotes.

So the farm ute, the bike and the tractor can each carry one.
