UpGate is a patented, solar-powered automated farm gate that lifts electrified bungy cords overhead. Farmers operate it from up to 100 metres away and use the same opening for vehicles and cattle.
It assumes a power point nearby, a straight run, and light use. A paddock gateway has none of those.
It also assumes the gate is the only thing at the opening. On a farm the gateway has to hold cattle as well as pass vehicles.
Solar power so there is no cable to run. A mechanism that lifts overhead rather than swings. And a gateway that stays electrified when it is closed, using the electric fence system you already run.
UpGate is operated with a remote control just like a garage door, with a range up to 100 metres and up to 32 remotes per gate.
